Utah Legal Elite™ 2012 Official Ballot
INTRODUCTION

Who are the state’s top lawyers? In January 2012, Utah Business will publish its eighth annual Utah Legal Elite special section. This special feature recognizes the state’s top lawyers as selected by their peers and is a ready reference for business leaders throughout the year. As a Utah lawyer, we invite you to vote for the lawyers whose work you have observed firsthand, whom you hold in the highest regard and would recommend to others. All votes must be submitted by Monday, September 19, 2011.


VOTING RULES (All nominations remain confidential)

• You may vote for up to 10 Utah attorneys from practice areas listed below in law firms throughout the state.
• You may vote for up to five attorneys in your firm.
• You may vote for up to five attorneys outside your firm.
• You may not vote for yourself.
• You may submit one ballot.
• All nominations and personal information will be kept confidential.
• All votes must be submitted by Monday, September 19, 2011.

SCORING RULES

Scoring is based on whether votes come from within a lawyer’s firm (one point) or outside his/her firm (three points). Incomplete, illegible, ineligible, duplicated or obviously grouped ballots will be eliminated by the judging panel.
